I have an extraordinarily big headache because I'm hung over.

A lot of good progress today with html.

I learned how to make these very neat and fancy columns you see above and below you. I also made that sidebar on the left with full bleed and fixed position. In contrast, the remainder of the page has appropriate margins and scroll capabilities.

Plus, I got a little bit of experience with padding, margins and column gap. Now that I have learned how to create independent, rule specific, text and object spaces, the clear next step is to learn to position them relative to themselves. It's the part, I feel, a lot of people take for granted but it really is the essential framing of your design. I really look forward to mastering this.

Then maybe see what type of animation comes easy. Perhaps some other type of image manipulation or interactivity. Really exciting stuff!

This is really, really fun stuff. I'm so excited by this. The pacing is very slow: this page took me hours. But the feeling is so rewarding. Blessed!

In personal news, it rained most of the day today and I scheduled 2 couches to be picked up for junk tomorrow(Monday.) On Wednesday I have a new loveseat scheduled for delivery. This is all for the bay room. Whose ceiling I finally sealed up last week. Spackling ensues and soon enough there will be a fresh coat of paint to finish everything. And then it's just minimalist, cozy wood stove sessions this coming winter.
